…HighMaintenanceHippie...

A jewelry line and lifestyle brand inspired by my mental health journey; featuring bohemian bling and spiritually charged charms filled with meaningful messages for the everyday HighMaintenanceHippie.

I use the brand as a platform to bridge the gap between mental health and spirituality; donating 10% of the profits from each purchase to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). These pieces I’ve designed and handmade include a collection of crystals, personalized pendants filled with essential oils, and brand new pieces including one of a kind “Masque Chains” in over 23 styles so you can be

“Protected, but make it fashion!”

Through my endless journey to inner peace, I've fallen in love with the concept that there is an inherent duality within the human experience; one that I think many of us struggle to process and so we seek answers, knowledge, and truth from outside ourselves. Much like Mental Health, the spiritual journey is a spectrum which we all fall on. In other words, we are all spiritual beings (“Hippies”) having a human experience (HighMaintenance) whether we realize it or not. Once you come to this realization and begin to ascend, you may find yourself walking alone. That's okay, many times it is necessary to walk our respective paths alone.  After all, even the best Coaches, healers, and Therapists are human, too ;) But when you are alone, I hope I can be there in spirit and holding your hand with my jewelry as an external reminder of all that lives inside of you.

Whether for yourself, a friend, or a family member, each of these handmade pieces is the perfect hand holder for those conscious of their spiritual journey or in the petulant process of transformation.

"Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, OCD, and hundreds of other diagnoses are not the choice of the bearer. Who would choose this suffering? Most of us do not notice or when we do, simply look away. Whether we look or not one in five people in the US suffers from a mental illness each year. Mental Illness is treatable and like every affliction requires awareness. Information increases understanding and, ultimately, expands our capacity for compassion."
